Madeleine Hatz

Madeleine Hatz (born 1952) is a Swedish painter who has worked for much of her career in New York City. She is known for abstract painting that is highly textured, but she also creates performance art, installations, sculpture, video, and is involved with photography.[1].

Art work

Her paintings use large gestures. The colors she uses are influenced by the landscapes and the weather of Scandinavia.[2]
