== Frank Clarke Irish Painter ==
Frank Clarke was born in Dublin Ireland and after a career that ranged from property management to entertainment only took up painting in his forties. Specialising in landscapes of Irish scenery he painted in oils and acrylics but is most renowned for his watercolurs. Along side his career as an artist he became an internationally acclaimed teacher through his books ,DVDs ,lectures and most importantly his TV series Simply Painting Around the World He has made over 250 of these half hour programs and they have ben broadcast on all 5 continents. His series have aired for the last 25 years on PBS America, Create Channel America, BBC UK,SKY Europe The Learning Channel Australia and more recently on CCTV Arts Channel in China. He has written 7 books including 2 published by BBC Worldwide. The first of these- Frank Clarke's Paintbox- entered the top 10 on it's release in the UK. He also travelled the world lecturing in the UK,US Australia and China. He also developed his own range of products and these are available on his website
