Introduction edit

I am a marketing student of York College. My I/O Psychology Professor, Dr. Ashton[1] assigned a project in which we should learn must learn how to edit Wikipedia. Industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology involves the application of the methods, facts, and principles of the science of psychology to people at work.[2]

Objectives of Projected Assignment edit

The objectives of the assignment are:

  1. To learn I/O Psychology content
  2. To develop writing skills
  3. To develop an understanding of crowdsourcing
  4. To reflect upon the value of Wikipedia
  5. To reflect upon our ability to create knowledge
  6. To develop self-directed planning and follow up

Current Task edit

  • Learning Wikipedia in an effort to systematically add to, and or, ameliorate current information pertaining to I/O Psychology that has been presented for public viewing via Wikipedia.
  • Editing my user page in an effort to achieve the highest grade possible in the mentally taxing, seemingly impossible class.
