Anbritt Stengele new article content ... Anbritt Christa Stengele is an American author and the founder of Chicago based Sports Traveler. She has been quoted as a leading authority on sports tourism and the sports ticketing industry by the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Chicago Sun Times. She has also been featured as a sports travel expert on the Fox Business Channel. She co-authored the book Sports Traveler Chicago with sports writer Lydia Rypcinski. The book was published by Chicago based publisher Lake Claremont Press in 2009.

Professional Career

Anbritt Stengele was a competitive figure skater in her youth competing mostly regionally in the Midwest. She trained under [Santee], two-time Olympic competitor and multiple U.S National Figure Skating medalist and [Ulanov], a Soviet pairs figure skater and Olympic champion. He won the 1972 Olympics with partner [Rodnina]. In 2000, Anbritt Stengele founded Sports Traveler while still training with Ulanov. In 2007, she signed an agreement with publishing company Lake Claremont Press to write the book "Sports Traveler Chicago", a sports fans guide to Chicagoland. In 2010, "Sports Traveler Chicago" won the Illinois Woman’s Press Association Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest for Best Non-Fiction in the general category and was also the winner of the 2010 [Federation of Press Women] Communication Contest for Best Non-Fiction.
