Tony Ingesson is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Dept. of Political Science, Lund University, Sweden. His dissertation project is focused on the political impact of tactical-level decision-making. Prior to to his Ph.D. studies, he has served in the Swedish Army (2001-2002) where he was trained within Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), the Swedish Air Force (2002-2004), where he was assigned to retrieve and analyze data concerning air-launched munitions, and the Swedish Navy (2010), where he underwent a five-week course in command, control & communications (C3) and then consequently served as a naval controller at Muskö naval base prior to taking up Ph.D. studies in September of 2010.
In addition to research related to the dissertation project, he also teaches courses in Political Science and Intelligence Analysis.
