D.E.M.O. Diary Entries of a Man in Orbit[1] is the first studio album to be released by Sacramento, California rapper, PREF1X. The album is produced by Powell Productions with some minor production by So High Productions. The album will feature appearences from electro rock singer Kaero, electronic group Amberglance, hip hop artist Dizzy Wright, and perhaps former artists of Pref1x's association such as Kid A.Y and Katie Martin.

Background edit

Originally Pref1x announced the release of his first studio album to be in the Summer of 2010. However, the date was later on moved to the Summer of 2011, and moved once again to the Summer of 2012. Pref1x eventually announced via Facebook in the Spring of 2012 that he had finally finished D.E.M.O. Diary Entries of a Man in Orbit. Beforehand however, he had leaked several tracks as well as releasing many singles which included "Mega Man" featuring Amberglance, "Color of Your Sky" featuring Kaero, "Killer Side", "You Are What You Are", and "The City" along with a music video.

Production edit

D.E.M.O. Diary Entries of a Man in Orbit is going to be released under Powell Productions. Despite this, Pref1x was in talks with several record labels throughout 2011 which included Shady Records, Atlanta Records, Island Def Jam, and eventually Hopsin's Funk Volume. So High Productions also had a hand in the production of the track "Color of Your Sky".
