I'm Tom, a PhD candidate in the Department of Geography and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.[1]

 

Specialist Areas

My areas of interest include environmental philosophy, the sociology of sustainable development, philosophy and methodologies of the social sciences, qualitative research methods and anarchist political philosophy.

I'm an editor at the Dark Mountain Project, a network of artists, poets and writers who are interested in the ecological stories which underpin our civilisation.[2]
