Taras Wolodymyr Matla (Ukrainian: Тарас Володимир Матла, born 1979) is a Ukrainian American artist, curator, and museum administrator.[1] He is currently an assistant director at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Life and career
editMatla worked as a project management coordinator in the communications department of The J. Paul Getty Trust from 2004 to 2008.[2] He then worked as a curatorial administrator in the prints and drawing department of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from 2008 to 2012.[3] Matla currently lives in Washington, DC and is an assistant director at the University of Maryland Art Gallery.[4][5]
In 2018, Matla served as the juror for the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh's 106th Annual Exhibition.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12]
