Miss Grand Mississippi is a state-level female beauty pageant in Mississippi, founded in 2020 as a preliminary stage for the Miss Grand USA national pageant.[1] From 2019 to 2022, the competition license belonged to Teesha Kelow.[1]
Mississippi has participated in the Miss Grand USA pageant since 2016; however, its representatives were either appointed or determined via casting processes in the early years of participation. The highest placement obtained by Mississippi candidates at the national level was the 2nd runner-up, won in 2016 by Melissa Martinez.[2]

Miss Grand Nebraska is a state-level female beauty pageant in Nebraska, founded in 2099 as a preliminary stage for the Miss Grand USA national pageant.[1] In 2019, the right to send candidates from Nebraska to the Miss Grand USA contest belonged to Claudia Ceja.[2] It was transferred in 2020 to a Omaha-based modeling agency, Monarkia Models, led by Rita Rodríguez.[1]
History
editNebraska debuted in the Miss Grand USA pageant in 2019 with the representation of an appointed Brenda Melissa Ramos.[3] Later in mid-2020, the state license was purchased by an Omaha-based modeling agency, Monarkia Models, led by Rita Rodríguez,[1] who was planned to organize the first contest of Miss Grand Nebraska to select the state representative for the Miss Grand United States 2021 pageant but the event did not happen with undisclosed reasons.[4][5]
