Kostja Horvat is a Slovenian soccer player, born on 11.11.1996 in Edinburgh (Scotland).
YOUTH edit
Kostja started his carrer as a goalkepper aged 8 at NK Triglav. At age 16 he transitioned to a right back field player position while playing at NK Sava U17 and later at NK Zarica U19.
SENIOR CARRER edit
Kostja started his senior carrer in the Netherlands at a semi-pro club A.V.V. Zeeburgia. Mostly coming on as a substitute or playing in the reserves Kostja scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists over 12 league games in his first year. In his second year at the club Kostja scored 5 goals and made 5 assists over 6 matches until he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and ruptured his meniskus. He underwent ACL reconstruction surgery shortly after which compeled him to the sidelines for 12 months.
Kostja returned to play at a 5th tier club D.V.V.A. reserves for season 2019/2020 while trying to fully rehabilitate the injury.
