Ueli Gegenschatz (born january 3rd 1971, died november 13th 2009 in Zurich) was the famoust and best Swiss basejumper, paraglider and skydiver. He held several world records and premieres, e.g. he was the first man who jumped from the mushroom rock at the Eiger North Face, he was also the first and only man who basejumped from Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau in less than twelve hours!
Unfortunately on november 11th, 2009, during a jump from the Sunrise Tower in Zurich, Switzerland, a gust hitted him, he lost control of his jump, impacted on the ground and was seriously blessed. He died two days later.
