TAPE is a community arts charity providing wide ranging creative opportunities for all. TAPE workshops and projects are run in safe, inclusive, supportive environments with the core belief that creativity is a route to wellbeing for individuals and communities. TAPE is based in its own state-of-the-art community arts centre in Old Colwyn, North Wales that comprises extensive performance and workshop spaces, digital cinema, professional recording studio and digital film editing facilities. The centre is home to numerous ongoing projects that provide a host of opportunities for people of all ages and from all backgrounds. TAPE also runs bespoke outreach projects across North Wales and the rest of the UK.
TAPE has worked with many organisations including The Princes Trust, Cartrefi Conwy, youth justice and probation service, drug and alcohol misuse teams, Waitrose, Conwy Children with Disabilities Team, Nottingham University, The RSPB, Oriel Mostyn, AFASIC, schools and further education establishments, the Alzheimer’s Society, child and adult mental health services and other arts organisations.
