Amjad Ssentomero commonly known as Amsento is a Ugandan fashion designer.[1]
Early life and education
editAmjad Ssentomero (born 14 January 2000), popularly known by his brand name AMSENTO , is a Muslim Ugandan owning a designer brand called amsento .he derived the brand name from his very own name AMJAD SSENTOMERO Getting Am and Sento making amsento, actually the full meaning in fashion theory is Approach Mania Style Exclusive Natural Trend Opalescent . he studied at king Fahad Islamic primary school - busega[2]. Bilal Islamic institute [3] & kibuli secondary school[4]. his interest in fashion began at a young age, when at the age of 20 he began to a fashion brand named amsento[5]. However it is his brand that he is best known for to date, and is considered one of Uganda's Top fashion brand designer . In 2020 when amsento signed to fashion industry, he began to make greater and stylish designs . Since then he has released several collections , including voguish collection[6] which is an autumn fall 2022. amsento is regarded one of the best and successful fashion designers in Uganda.
Career

In 2022, he launched the Amsento iMagazine), a worldwide magazine of fashion including all aspects of fashion . it has been showing all different styles and brands and top news about fashion industry this has been a great fashion magazine in Kampala and Uganda at large
Recognition
editIn 2020, he received an award for 'young designer brand' at UGFA Awards, This 2022 he is to participate & being nominated in the asfas awards.[8]
