For a second time I'm walking away from the Wikipedia but it is, in part, because I've been convinced that the editing community will keep things in good order over-all.

The pages I had been working on, during this brief visit, have improved with regards to neutrality and assessments on noteability, in at least one the case, has started to go deeper than ill-informed, reactionary nay-saying. This was not due to me but due to the wider community, who have embraced (what I would humbly describe as) the bigger picture.

They have demonstrated the kind of cooperative, rigorous and incremental spirit that warms my old heart.

I've not been able to work on the D&D Alignment page, which contains a lot of plagiarism on the individual descriptions of the 9 alignments and is incorrect in stating that only Law and Chaos appeared in D&D (although saying *refer to a physical copy of the "Blue Box" D&D Basic set* is probably not an acceptable reference for people who lack such a copy).

I do invite people to remember the Electoral Commissions rules and point out that there is no registered description of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party listed as the "Monster Raving Loony Party" (in fact there are *no* registered descriptions for this party). The Wikipedia's current practise to list the OMRLP as the "Monster Raving Loony Party" is an act that could lead to confusion at the ballot box.

I'm not the person to raise this issue directly but I'm sure that there are others than can, which (to recap) is the reason I'm leaving.

I'll return to the gentler pleasures of using a wiki to faithfully document a virtual world (a lesser known MMO) in a manner not entirely dissimilar to travel journalism!

I may return to the Wikipedia again but only when the stars are right ...
