User page for the "The Lonely Grue" - a handle I chose because Zork is the first game I remember staying up all night to play... and decades later, there's still something profound about the simple statement that:
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
"Lonely" because in today's world of high-poly 3D whizzbang uber-textured awesomeness, I have to figure that the Grue doesn't get as many visitors as he used to.
The day job: I work at Electronic Arts - online/social/community marketing for our games label (though any views I express on this page are not necessarily those shared by my employer, etc etc). Like the Grue, I'm more likely to lurk than anything else, though I may fix the odd link or two. If it evolves beyond that, I'll update this description :)
