edit"My Ordinary Life" sampled the track Koigokoro wa Dangan mo Yawarakakusuru in the anime Nichijou. The song was meant to be a "parody of the modern state of rap." When asked about how Sam Haft made the song, he replied with "We ate a shitload of chicken and spent the evening writing about fame and disillusionment."[1]
