editTheBigSmoke is a 30 year old male film producer from Canada. He appreciates Wikipedia as it once took him over three months to determine what major metropolitan center had the nickname "The Big Smoke". It was, in fact, his then-hometown of Toronto, Canada.

A note on Canadian spelling and idiom
editAlthough it seems to be less of an issue these days, please note that until the prefix for english wikipedia is us.wikipedia.org I will continue to consider Canadian spelling and idiomatic conventions such as colour, honour, and couch, "correct" spelling; And I will continue to take their "correction" as POV.
