William Carbines (1893 – 15 April 1912) was born in 1893 at Nanjivey, Higher Stennack in St Ives, Cornwall, the son of Mr Nicholas and Jane Carbines. He was a 19 year old English man who died during the sinking of the RMS Titanic. His body was recovered after the sinking, and was one of only a few send back to England for burial
