My name David Ruderman. If you are one of those that's curious why we picked a given user name (like me), I used tallguy2270 because a friend's daughter years ago always gave me a hard time about being tall (6'5"). I called her shorty and she, of course, called me tallguy. The 2270? Because a) I'm not the only tall person that calls himself tallguy, b) I needed a number series after tallguy that had significance to me that I could remember.
I live in Southern California. Married, 2 kids, one in graduate school the other finishing high school. Love photography and being a smart ass.
My background is in direct marketing, working for a number of years with a business to business catalog firm, then working as the Chief Marketing Officer for Chapman University in Orange, CA. I now work for Greenwood & Hall as the Senior VP, Education Marketing.
I do want to disclose that I recently may have made some edits to the Greenwood & Hall Wikipedia article in good faith which were technically violations of the Wikipedia conflict-of-interest guidelines. I have discontinued doing this, but wish to continue to work on Wikipedia in other fields.
