Tadesse Gedefa Mekonnen (MA, MPH) was born in 1983 at Gebre Guracha town, Oromia. He is a public health and behavioral science specialist with a decade of substantial work experience in the areas of adolescent reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, disability inclusion and gender transforming. He has extensive leadership and decision making skills, has knowledge about the management of the health systems and excellent in the handling and extracting data for both qualitative and quantitative research. Tadesse has good interpersonal skills, well organized and ability to make tough jobs quickly. His major interest has been adolescent reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, drug/substance abuse, domestic violence, women empowerment and health care financing. He always works to the target aiming at productivity and achievements of the organizational goal. Currently, Tadesse is an independent consultant and researcher in the areas of public health and behavioral science.
