My name is Yusuke TAKEZAWA. I'm a graduate student of the University of Tokyo and studying bioinorganic chemistry. I also participate in an NPO which holds science seminars for high school students in Japan.
I have an interest in communication between scientists and the general public, which is recently called science communication. I’m especially interested in the Science Cafe (Café Scientifique) movement. Science Cafe, which began in Britain several years ago, is an event where specialists on science and regular people talk and debate about science issues in cafes, bars, and restaurants. Now I’m planning this practical activity of science communication in Japan.
