CX Company is a European software company that develops and sells an AI chatbot platform for enterprise use. The company's product - called DigitalCX - is deployed in a wide range of industries including finance, utilities, telecom, travel, the public sector and retail. It is headquartered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and was founded in 2005.

== Product ==

DigitalCX is a cloud-based SaaS platform which allows businesses to deliver automated customer support across a range of digital channels and devices. Users can curate questions & answers, dialogs, and intents, using drag and drop technology. The platform comes with a built-in Natural Language Processing (NLP) engine in 20+ languages and several AI features. Its Application Programming Interface (API) can connect and interact with back office and transaction processing systems, CRM systems, live chat and telephone applications.

== History ==

  • 1999: Jeroen Brouwers started to develop chatbots after seeing an abundance of call centers emerging in the US because of the dot-com bubble. He bel ieved that contact with customers could be done in a quicker and smarter way than via phone or voice response systems.
  • 2001: Jeroen Brouwers created his company Elitech and welcomed his first client, Nutsbedrijve Maastricht (now part of Essent).
  • 2003: Jeroen met Dirk Jan Dokman and Jaap van Gent who started reselling his product.
  • 2005: Jeroen Brouwers, Dirk Jan Dokman and Jaap van Gent founded CX Company.
  • 2010: the Webcare Company was founded to accommodate the growing web care needs of KLM, one of its clients.
  • 2006: CX Company begins operating in Germany and opens an office in Dusseldorf.
  • 2007: CX Company begins operating in the UK and opens an office in London.
  • 2015: CX Company sells the Webcare Company and focusses on its core business: chatbot development
  • 2019: Dirk Stuip is appointed as Managing Director
