AS-PL Ltd (stylized record: AS-PL) - a Polish company based in Gdańsk, operating in the field of alternators and starters for passenger cars, lorries, agricultural machines, boats, motorcycles, and the industrial market.
Company History
editThe company operates since 1992. At the beginning as Auto-Starter – Danuta Kaszubowska and with the distribution of automotive parts mainly in Poland. Since 2004 AS-PL introduced products manufactured under the brand name “AS”. As of 2007, the assembly process of alternators and starters is carried out in Poland.
The headquarters, office of the Sales Department, and 8000 sqm of warehouse space are located in Gdańsk. In 2015 a new production plant was opened (in Lubichowo near Starogard Gdański) with 5000 sqm of warehouse space.
The company opened a few international branch offices together with warehouses. AS-PL UK Ltd. was opened in 2017, AS-PL Italia s.r.l. in 2019, AS-PL Electricos Rotativos S.L.[1] in 2022 in Spain. In 2023 the office of AS-PL UK Ltd. was moved from London to Liverpool and a warehouse was expanded[2].
Activities
editAS-PL is a member of the Association of Distributors and Manufacturers of Automotive Parts (SDCM) in Poland[3][4], The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF)[5], and the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (Apra).[6]
From 2018 AS-PL products can be found in British MAM Software Autocat v8[7] and TecDoc[8] catalogue.
