Born on 2 May, 1968 in Wisconsin. Attending Army basic training at age 17 (split option program) in summer of 1985 and served in Army Reserves. Joined regular Army in December of 1989 and was promptly shipped to Yongsan Army Base in Seoul, South Korea. Left Korea in January of 1990 for Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Shipped to Saudi Arabia in September of 1990 (Operation Desert Shield), serving in the Western front push into Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. Left the middle east and returned to Fort Bragg in May of 1991.

Honorably discharged in 1992 (early-out program), moved to homestate of Wisconsin. Held several restaraunt management positions there until moving to Louisville, Kentucky in 1994. Began working as a machine shop employee for Winston Industries and eventually managed the shop. Promoted to engineering department where he designed various fryers and heated cabinets for the restaraunt industry. In 2000, was hired on at Space Hardware Optimization Technology Inc. (SHOT) and worked as drafter and co-designer for the International Space Station and Space Shuttle self-contained experimental laboratories. Laid-off in 2002 due to government contracts being pulled after 9/11 attacks.

Hired on at Source International as an Account Specialist responsible for several import accounts. Traveled to China several times until offered a position in the company's Xiamen, China office as Director of Product Group, where he works today.

He lives with his wife, daughters Jackie (17) and Emily (15), and son Michael (7). His oldest daughter Mallory (19) lives in Wisconsin where she is raising his first grandchild, Aiden (<1). He is currently attending online courses in pursuit of a degree in Business Management.
