Linescratchers is a website in the LDS blogging community, otherwise known as the Bloggernacle, that features interviews, news, and reviews of LDS musicians who don't write LDS music. It was created in June 2008 by Arthur Hatton, nephew of Bloggernacle veteran John Dehlin, for musicians who wished to remain associated with the LDS community, but did not write faith-based music,[1][2] such as Alan Sparhawk of Minnesota band Low, Scot Alexander from Dishwalla and others.[3]

It is a group blog with several writers including Gregg Hale, who previously played guitar for the art-rock band Spiritualized.[4] It also includes a podcast that is updated semi-regularly that features songs by its artists.[5]
