He is the second and youngest son of Sidney and Sandra Wise. After graduating from Kansas State's Bakery Science program, he attended AIB's Bakery Science and Technology course. After completing his education, he moved to the Saint Louis area in Missouri and began work in his field.
He met and married a local Saint Louisan. They had identical twin boys whom were born in the summer of 2013. They divorced September 2019. He remarried in April 2021 to a nurse manager from Arkansas. Together, they have 4 sons and a daughter.
