106five Rhema FM is a Christian Community radio station located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
106five broadcasts "100% Christian music" as well as teaching programs and relevant material for listeners on the Sunshine Coast.
It is owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Christian Broadcasters Association Inc (SCCBA). The SCCBA commenced when a public meeting was held in 1993 to ascertain if there was an interest in commencing a Christian Radio Station on the Sunshine Coast.
Being a community station, it is a listener supported, membership based, volunteer-operated, not-for-profit organisation[1]. 106.5 Rhema FM is currently comprised of around 1090 members and almost 90 volunteers who regularly give of their time and expertise to present Christian Radio to the Sunshine Coast. It can be heard from Noosa to Brisbane and world-wide through webcasting.
106five Rhema FM broadcasts 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a permanent full time licence. SCCBA is a non-denominational Christian body. Presently 58 different churches and church organisations are members of the Association.
