Rachelle Blake (born November 14, 1964, in Hollywood, CA) is an American actress, author, electronic health records (EHR) and clinical informatics expert, philanthropist, and CEO of a computer technology development company in Silicon Valley, California.
Early life edit
Blake was born in Hollywood (Los Angeles), California, in November of 1964, making her one of the last of the generation known as the "Baby Boomers. She made an early debut in the entertainment industry at the age of 5 when she appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in a fashion show with the Caroline Leonetti Agency.[1].
Education edit
Blake attended Trinity Lutheran School in Hawthorne, California, during her elementary school years.[2] Being an original "Valley Girl", Blake continued her education at Taft High in the San Fernando Valley in Woodland Hills, where her classmates included Lisa Kudrow (who portrayed Phoebe in NBC's Friends) and Justine Bateman (best known as Mallory in NBC's Family Ties).[3] She received her undergraduate education at University of Denver, earned a Physician Assistant certificate, and received a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from Boulder College in the late 1980s.[4][5]
