I studied Tourism Management at the University of Pretoria, and during my honours year, I started working at the Merensky Library, digitising books. ^[1]

I loved doing it so much, that after the completion of my honours degree, I still worked in the digitization office, and not in the Tourism industry. After a few months, I was employed permanently. This now makes me an accidental librarian! Every project is different, and I learn new things every day.
