A CO2e-Certificate or CO2e Certificate is a competing inclusive term to refer to all types of Greenhouse Gas Certificates - whereby the CO2e stands for CO2equivalents - as mentioned in the UNFCCC Emission Trading System, i.e.:
- AAU's, which stands for Assigned Amount Units
- EUA's, which stands for European Union Allowance
- CER's, which stands for Certified Emission Reduction (Unit)
- ERU's, which stands for Emission Reduction Units conform the JI which stands for Joint Implementation (Mechanism).
- VER's, which stands for Verified of Voluntary Emission Reduction (Unit)
