Bradley Wayne Skeete (born 17h October 1987) British Professional boxer from England who fights in the Welterweight division. His nickname is Super and he is signed to Frank Warren for promotions. His professional carrier is being managed by Dean Powell and trained by Alan Smith, Eddie Lam and strength & conditioning coach Bob MacDonald.
Childhood
editBradley born at St Georges Hospital in Tooting South West London and raised in Battersea on the Surrey Lane Estate. Attend Bolingbrook Primary School from 1991 to 1996 then moved to Penge South East London and attend James Dixon Primary School from 1996 to 1998. He finished his primary school days and attended St John Rigby School in West Wickham from 1998 to 2001. Due to the affection to sports he didn't finish secondary school and left early with no qualifications.
Amateur career
editHe started boxing when he was 7 years old. His dad took him down to Earlsfield A.B.C. in Wandsworth South West London. He enjoyed 15 successful years at the club with a coach named Sid Khan. He received his first amateur bout on the 15th November 1998 and won on points. On his journey towards the path of boxing he won National titles and represented England and Great Britain boxing all round the world. He ended his amateur career with a record of 94 bouts 72 wins and 22 losses. His achievements were 3x Schoolboy National Finalist 2001, 2002, 2003, 1x CYP National Finalist 2003, CYP National Champion 2005, Senior ABA National Finalist 2009, Four Nations Gold Medallist 2002, Great Britain Senior Silver Medallist 2009, Commonwealth Federations Bronze Medallist 2007, and Multi Nations Gold Medallist in Bosnia 2006. He boxed in the Junior European Union Championships in Italy in 2006 and Junior World championships in Morocco in 2006.
Professional career
editOn 19 April 2010 he signed a professional contract with promoter Frank Warren and managerial contract with Dean Powell and teamed up with professional coaches Alan Smith, Eddie Lam and strength & conditioning coach Bob MacDonald. On the 23rd October 2010 he made his professional debut at the famous York Hall in Bethnal Green London winning on points over four rounds against experienced journeyman Billy Smith.
Family
editHe is the youngest member of his family. He has one sister Danielle and older brother James. He is father of a daughter born in 2009 and two nephews from his sister. He lives in Penge South East London with his parents Henry and Julie.
