Village Semla of Jyotiba Phule Nagar District ...

  The village SEMLA generally written as SAIMLA lies under Hasanpur Tehsil of Jyotiba Phule Nagar District. You should not be confused with the name of the district. There is no city of thi name.District headquarter is Amroha.
  This is a small village having population of about 800. This is totally Hindu populated village. The dominating caste of the village is Chauhan Rajput who belong to Kshtriya class of Hindus. Remaining population belong to Schedule Caste. 
  Half of the population is literate.Women are less literate.
  The most educated person of the village is Mr. Dayaram Singh Who is a retired English teacher. He taught at Rishikesh (Uttarakhand) He has written a book for English learning students. The is very helpful to the learners. Any body can meet him. He lives in Vimla Niwas near the only temple of the village.
   One can reach the village via Gajraula or Hasanpur. Sambhal is also near the village. Sambhal is the place where next incarnation of Lord Vishnu named "Kalki" will take birth.
