The Florida Association for Volunteer Action in the Caribbean and the Americas, Inc. (FAVACA), is a private non-profit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida, United States, and operates under Section 288.0251 of the Florida Statutes. Formed in 1982 by Florida Governor (now former U.S. Senator) Bob Graham, FAVACA establishes sustainable partnerships between non-governmental organizations, universities, government agencies and businesses in Florida and the Caribbean and Latin America by providing professional training and technical assitance to local partners in these regions.

== Projects ==

FAVACA has conducted more than 2,500 technical assistance and training volunteer missions reaching approximately 50,000 individuals in 30 countries over the past 25 years [1]. FAVACA volunteers are professionals and experts in various fields including agriculture, business, disaster mitigation, environmental and heritage, health and social issues, and informational systems, among others.

FAVACA collaborates with international and regional organizations such as Partners of the Americas Farmer-to-Farmer Program, Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), and Dominican Organic Agriculture Movement (DOAM)
