I am a new editor of Wikipedia but have been using it for a long time. I hope to be able to contribute by providing syntheses of academic sources that shed more light on issues that have been covered on this platform so that people are able to learn more about these topics with Wikipedia.

Proposal edit
I have decided on developing the article Femicide in Latin America in a couple of different aspects. In the section titled "Incidence," I will elaborate on how there are different factors that can impact femicide, adding a theological lense to looking at gender roles, as well as expanding on the role of migration. I also want to expand on the effectiveness of Justice systems and the approach they are taking to addressing femicide, as well as the outcomes. I would also like to describe the impacts of femicide in context of the families, and how it can impact children of the women that are victims of femicide. I will also mention some social movements regarding femicide and describe their goals, approach, and traction. There is more information on my sandbox, along with an annotated bibliography.
