2021 Vaccination efforts edit

Large scale vaccination sites, referred to as "vaccination hubs", were established throughout the State beginning in January 2021. As of January 16, 2021, the original number of vaccination hubs was increased from 28 to 79.[1] On January 14, 2021 Texas became the first state to administer one million doses of the Covid-19 vaccination. As of January 27, 2021, more than two million doses have been administered. On February 4, 2021, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that almost three million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given to Texas residents. Over two million Texans had received one dose of the vaccine and 620,000 Texans had been fully vaccinated.[2]
