Hi, my name is Steve Ambrose and I am a retired (2009) US Forest Service employee that now is volunteering for the International Wood Culture Society who helps support World Wood Day that occurs March 21 of every year. I live in Colorado, am a Certified Forester with the Society of American Foresters, and a Master Naturaist for the City of Fort Collins. I enjoy the outdoors and travel with my wife Julia. Conflict of Interest.... I have declared my affiliation with the International Wood Culture Society and have followed procedure by declring my affiliation in my biograpny. I volunteer for the International Wood Culture Society as I do for many other organizations like the city of Fort Collins as a master naturalist, Larimer County as a Parks Board Member, and as a Member of the Society of American Foresters. I am not a paid staff nor have I been paid in the past for my volunteer service. I am a retired Professional Forester who believes the IWCS has a mission statement that I can support.
