Scarlet Monahan Monahan was born 1983 in the rural town of Welwyn Garden City, hertfordshire a middle child with two sisters. She attended the local secondary school and then studied at Oaklands college gaining qualifications in studying fine arts and photography. Scarlet is known as an artist, poet, saturist and musician. Her work can be seen on many sites across the global internet and in galleries and magazines.
Scarlet started working with bands and fellow musicians when she left school and started college, creating posters/flyers for upcomming gigs and album covers. She wrote and co wrote music for the band she was playing with at the time. During this time she started selling art and during 2008 she was an artist in the the first Harvests of New Millennium art and poetry journal. In 2008/09 her work featured mother magazine twice.
Monahan is a pop artist and surrealist. She creates work bringing dreams and imagination to life and
