Foreword edit

Firstly, I just registered, and will be trying sandboxly to make this page a nice page, following this idea of what to write here.

I just registered because I like wikipedia and I'd like to colaborate as I can (mostly by common stuff, such as correcting spelling mistakes as these stuff, also by trying to post useful stuff signatured in discussions).

Suggestion to Wikipedia edit

I read the wikinew about the China ban, then that "JFK murderer" article, and searching a little about Wikipedia reliability, here's my idea, for whoever wants to read it here:

Many people doesn't like the wikipedia unreliability, but the main pillar of wikipedia, is that it is 'wiki' instead of just an 'pedia'. So how to fix it without taking this pillar away? Well, there's no way. My idea (that I'll try to send to someone in the high wikimedia positions) is to try to make an "almost-wiki" pedia. One of the better criticisms I read about wikipedia in the past few minutes, is that, considering it as a government, it is anarchy. I am not sure (maybe this is not NPOV), but I guess the most widespread and easy to maintain and at that at least *looks* *reliable* is the democracy. But what if we made an wikipedia that each an every post had to go through a small council of elected well-known wikipedians. Yes, it would merge politics into it, and add a lot of bureaucracy, and maybe it would ruin it. That's why I propose the creation of a new wikipedia, maybe within wikicities, if there is any option of moderation there (what I doubt, since there is still wiki). The greater problem I see in my idea is the begining (getting it filled with articles and getting popular), that's why the first "rulers" (probably wikimedia workers) would have some great work to do such as (but not limiting to) copying the entire wikipedia to it, but checking each and every article. Edit: Maybe each wikipedia portal should have his very own wikipedian council representation, because he sure know about his portal, and even being "god" in his portal, has to go through all the bureaucracy in every other portal. And maybe one other wikipedia for general articles that haven't gone to the appropriate portal or that doesn't fit any portal or that still don't have enough articles about that to have its very own portal.

Sorry if I confused it too much, but I got too excited with this idea and just wrote it anyway.
