Tyler Weekes is the founder and co-owner of CourtThink, LLC, along with parnter and longtime mentor Dave Nostrant. The professional tennis management company was conceived in late 2004 and specializes in private club and resort tennis management. Weekes and CourtThink, LLC, also runs the tennis concession at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas on the strip.
Along with longtime friend and Las Vegas attorney Jordan Butler, Weekes has also created CourtThink Tournaments, LLC, bringing professional tennis back to the Las Vegas area. In the summer of 2012, as the tennis concessionaire at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Weekes met Stefan Gordy, known as Redfoo of the international hit group LMFAO. After a two-hour lesson, Weekes mentioned his professional event was in need of a title sponsor. A plan was put in place and Redfoo and his Party Rock line of clothing became the title sponsor of the Party Rock Open Presented by the Nevada Orthopedic and Spine Center, a USTA Women's $50,000 Pro Circut event.
Between singles matches on Semifinal Saturday, Redfoo performed two of his hit songs "Party Rock Anthem" and "I'm Sexy and I Know It" during a Flash Mob as he was joined by numerous kids who came out from the stands. Weekes found himself on the court alongside Redfoo leading the kids in Redfoo's famous dance the "Shuffle".
The tournament was held at the Red Rock Country Club for three years (2009-2011) and formerly known as the $50,000 Lexus of Las Vegas Open Presented by the Nevada Orthopedic and Spine Center. The fourth Las Vegas Open, and first Party Rock Open, was held Sept. 23-30, 2012, at a new venue, the Darling Tennis Center, and won by American Lauren Davis.
CourtThink is internationally recognized for its contributions in tennis research and its ownership of the Vic Braden Tennis College, voted the No. 2 best tennis camp in the world by www.tennisresortsonline.com. [1].
Weekes is also a registered WTA coach and has served time coaching Ivana Lisjak, who achieved a career-high WTA rank of 96. CourtThink has also provided tennis services for tennis celebrities and their families including Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Darren Cahill and Mark Philippoussis.
Before taking over the tennis concession at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, CourtThink managed the tennis concession at the Red Rock Country Club and the $15-million indoor facility, the International Tennis Centre in Las Vegas. In addition, CourtThink also runs the largest private club junior summer camp program bringing in $100,000 in revenue per year.
CourtThink's motto is "Understanding the Game" which is clearly seen in all aspects of its business. CourtThink has managed or provided programming for such clubs as The Westward Look in Arizona, The Homestead in Michigan, The Fairmont Orchid in Hawaii, as well as Red Rock Country Club and The International Tennis Centre in Las Vegas.
Weekes was born June 3, 1982 in Denver, Colo., and grew up in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho.
