• The town of Codell, Kansas is hit by three strong tornadoes on the same date (May 20) three years in a row from 1916 to 1918
• Falling coconuts kill 30 times as much people (150) than shark attacks (5) per year
• After detecting a possible Russian submarine, the Swedish navy decided to spend $165 million dollars to try and find it, but the Swedish Arbitration Society stated that it's a waste of money, and instead proposed to use a sign with neon lights, showing a seaman thrusting his hips, with the caption that said "This way if you're gay"
