Anupamism This phrase is given by Indian Theater practitioner, writer, Poet, and Blogger Anupam Sharma. Who is also well known as "Shlok" as his writing name. Anupamism is a school of thought invented by Anupam in the year 2008. He is a well-known face in Indian theater community but he himself calls him a "Radical expressionist" instead of "Theater practitioner”. He came into news after his radical article against India's premier theater institute " National School of drama", which has produced thousands of theater & Bollywood actors, directors includes (Nasiruddin Shah,Om Puri,Irfan khan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda,Anupam Khair, etc). He bluntly spoke about Faulty admission procedure & corruption in Cultural temple of India. The Impact of that article namely " NSD ka Dhakosla" (clerihew of NSD)was so strong that whole theater community of India which is primarily run by NSD itself boycott this amazing skilled talent, who has completed 24 years of this life in August 2011.

Anupam calls anupamism a way to save India’s great culture , which is in transition period. The impact of Western cultural is very stong on new generation dominantly sexual behavior. According to Anupam " India is in a critical era, for this generation growth means "Sexual freedom". He adds " Sex should be the least considered thing if we want to come out safe of this "transition period". Every leaving object is doing sex, be it a dog, cat, mouse, insect, horse, snake, etc. So what is special if you also do it . Humans are special when they don’t do it. Now Anupam is becoming a raze & craze because of his blunt comments on 'Virginism" in India. His famous infamous line has started changing the thought process of Indian Generation, which says " I am Proud to be a Virgin, I am special because i am not like Animals who think about only two things Food & Sex".

Though he does not like to come into camera's .still Indian youth is following him where ever he goes. He calls this "Facebook generation's time pass .He adds " After Anna Hazare they have nothing to talk about that is why they are talking about me , Actually they don’t even understand the basic concept of Anupamism." Not only his bluntness but his writing has also makes him a craze between new generation of India. He is an amazing Hindi Literature writer. His Poem "Pighalte Harf" (Melting words), Story Sadia & saifed battakh (White duck) were shortlisted by Bharangam 2010 but they withdraw it after they got to know that those were Anupam's creation.

Anupam , who is a follower of Barclay Beckett & Freud ,& calls himself "Pedantic" recites " Nothing is wrong & nothing is right in this world. The fight is between your Right & My Right. If u can prove Earth is Square , prove it with Facts & I would also believe in that." He also adds " A great Manipulation & communication skills makes a great person not your great works"

Though most of the theater community avoids him because of the pressure of NSD, still he is active in Theater teaching & Direction. He is Graduate from India's Premier theater institute SRCPA (Shri ram center of performing arts). He had introduced "Personality theory of Acting' in his graduation days, which was overall welcomed. He says " You can stop me from writing, you can stop me from speaking but you can’t stop my thought, and I’ll change the society with the power of thoughts"
