editMasurLaw is a venture, intellectual property and entertainment legal firm based out of New York City with both international and US clients. They help early stage companies get off the ground, act as general counsel for large companies and create initiatives targeted on helping the technology and entertainment communities.
Team
editSteve Masur, Esq. is the Founder and Managing Partner of the firm. He graduated from Colby College in 1984, received his J.D. in 1993 from American University in Washington, DC and is a member of the New York State and District of Columbia bar associations. He helps clients with business and legal strategy, corporate finance and governance, intellectual property, and mergers and acquisitions.
Cheryl Wickham, Esq. is also Managing Partner of the firm. Cheryl received her B.A. in 1997 from the University of Southern California, and her J.D. in 2001 from Golden Gate University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in California and New York and mainly concentrates on issues related to the firm’s TV, film, video, and general entertainment practices.
Jonathan Lutzky, Esq. is an Associate at MasurLaw. He received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Communications at the Annenberg School, and a J.D. from New York Law School. He is the director of our Early Stage Services Group and specializes in intellectual property, licensing, and general corporate transactional work. Jonathan also supervises MasurLaw’s trademark department.
David Mazur, Esq. is also an Associate at MasurLaw. David earned a B.A. from Emory University where he studied English Literature and Political Science, and a J.D. from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law where his course-load focused on intellectual property and corporate law. At MasurLaw, David specializes in copyright, new media and corporate transactional law. He also assists Jon with our Early Stage Services practice.
Vanessa Bonn is MasurLaw's Director of Business Affairs. She received her B.A. in 2004 from Five Towns College majoring in Music Business, and oversees MasurLaw's business development, advertising, marketing and PR activities, as well as publication, media outreach and promotion at the firm.
Jessica Dieguez is MasurLaw's Business Affairs Assistant. She graduated from SUNY Purchase with a B.A. in Creative Writing, and assists with business development, marketing, promotion, outreach and advertising affairs.

editMasurLaw serves a wide array of clients in the Technology and New Media, Mobile, Games, Music, Music Artists, Film and TV, Products, Performing Arts, Fine Art and Publishing and Licensing industries.
