This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/Rollins_College/Writing_about_Wikipedia_(Fall_2015). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |
I like to think of Wikipedia as a representation of how human knowledge is obtained. In order for our analytical representation of reality to exist we must follow order. Whether it is the scientific method, or an organization's policies. The debate over the truth of reality will always continue, for none of us completely understand the world we all share. Instead we all see different worlds that share similar aspects. It is not that one is incorrect or mis understands, it is their own perception reality differs from another's, meaning they could be correct. For reality would appear to be as we see it, after all reality is referred to be infinite for a reason.
In a way our perceptions of reality is like a wiki. We analyze other's claims and understand where the received the information and deem it reliable or unreliable. The only difference is that reality has no limitation, for it is not forged by concepts of man, but understood by man.
"If perception was reality, then we would all be gods" - Jonathan Webster
