All about me… edit
My name is Savannah Wiersma. I was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and have just recently spent a year living in the beautiful country of Australia. I am currently a freshman at a Georgia state university. I graduated as an honor graduate from Burke County High School in May of 2009 and participated in multiple school activities such as the Interact Club, BETA Club, the National FFA Organization, and the International Club. I graduated with a GPA of 3.6 and as a result received the HOPE scholarship, which will pay for my college tuition. I plan to keep this scholarship throughout my four years in college. My major is currently undeclared, but I plan to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
My Take on Wikipedia edit
Wikipedia has been extremely useful to me for background information and also my many curiosities. I believe that it is a very useful tool, and I have always appreciated it. It has been very useful to me all throughout my school years. I have made a few of my own contributions to Wikipedia on articles about Burke County, Georgia, Rochedale, Queensland, Daydream Island, Savannah River, and Interior Design. In addition, I plan to write my own article for Wikipedia on Byne Blueberry Farms, which is a well known farm that has gained much recognition for its business and products in the past decade.
Computer Skills edit
I have been able to use the computer ever since I was little. I remember when Google became popular, and now it is a must have for me. Most of the technology we have available these days is simply astounding. I enjoy all different types of technology, but I especially love my Mac!
Languages edit
I speak one language, which is American English. I have taken three Spanish courses in the past, but I am not fluent in it. However, I do love the beauty of all different kinds of languages.
