I was born and raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
After 30+ years of faithful, fully believing membership, I learned about the controversial Second Anointing ritual, which is kept secret from all but the highest levels of membership within the LDS church.
This led me to dive into researching the church, and church history. I hope to help identify and collect primary, historical sources to further shed light on the unique aspects of the history of the LDS church, and the modern practices within the church that most members are unaware of.
