Siyabonga Nicholus Khumalo is an IT Professional who began his career at a rural primary school in Swaziland by the name of S'gombeni Primary School. He went on to do his high school education at Ngwane Park High School in the outskirt of Manzini, the second biggest city of Swaziland. Due to poor result he went to upgrade his Science studies at S't Francis High School in the capital city of the country, Mbabane. He then began his tertiary education at Oxford Business Institute, a private institution where he studied Computer Technical Support. Due to challenges, Siyabonga couldn't complete his studies at Oxford but went on to begin a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Swaziland (UNISWA) in 2008. His majors were Computer Science & Geography, Planning and Environmental Science. During his University tenure, he became a Student Representation in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environmental Science. In 2011 and 2012 he was selected to join a team of other young IT professionals to take internship programs in one of the biggest telecommunication company in the country called Swaziland Post and Telecommunication Corporation (SPTC). He eventually completed his Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 however as a result of low employment rate in his home country, Siyabonga was unable to get employment immediately. In 2013, Siyabonga was lucky enough to get a scholarship which enabled him to study a masters program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at National Taipei University of Technology in Taiwan. He studied the program for two years and during his 2014 summer break he went back to Swaziland to do an IT internship at Swaziland Railway. After completing his masters in 2015 he spent two months at Texray Swaziland employed as an ICT officer before he joined Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP) as an Assistant Lecturer. Texray, is a Taiwan's owned textile company which employs more than a thousand Swazis in that country.
