St. Joseph's R.C High School, Dobra is a Roman Catholic high school situated 17km out of Windhoek. At St. Joseph's Roman Catholic High School, the first class start at 07h10, with a song or a prayer and they close the day in the same fashion. A learner leads either the song or the prayer beginning with the sign of the cross, saying "In the name of the Father,Son and the Holy Spirit. This has been the culture at Dobra dating back a century. Current principal Mr Lukas Ernesto(2011-2013)- and his predecessor Mr Deon Nashenda(1980-2010), maintained the school had surpassed countless hardship in that decade but to their amazement it is still standing with it roots firmly placed at the core of providing quality education based on on christian values. unique about St Joseph's, is that a majority of the cradle of Namibia's best post independence leaders and prominent men and women in society emerged from those buildings. Floyd Amulungu was the head boy of St. Joseph's RC High School 2008.
