Catherine Fookes is a British Labour party politician elected as Member of Parliament for the Monmouthshire constituency in the general election held on 4 July 2024.
Political career
editFookes had been a Monmouthshire councillor for the Town ward of Monmouth. She had job-shared the equalities and engagement portfolio on the council. She resigned her positions in 2023 after being selected as Labour parliamentary candidate for the next UK general election.[1]
