My interests are:
Electronics Engineering (which pays my bills)
I am "Sim man" because most of my real work is running simulations, or "sims". I try to squeeze Wikipedia edits in between the simulations. If my sims are really long, I do other "real" work while they're running. So I tend to make quick edits on Wikipedia rather than write long articles. I was responsible for cleaning up the links to the Electronic redirect page, and I have done work on the Wikibook on Chess Opening Theory and Chess terminology. I am currently working on chess openings - creating redirect pages like A44 (chess opening) and disambiguation pages like A61 from the ECO codes to the actual article about the opening. I am also doing work in Wikibooks. It is at Wikibooks:Chess/Analysis of KQK Endgame.
Things to do:
update target articles with ECO codes (similar to Alekhine's Defence) and then convert (chess opening) pages to redirects, remembering to check links, convert plain pages to disambiguation pages, checking links, and delete empty ECO code category when done
finish the rest of the ECO code project:
- update page to include ECO codes (or create page)
- create redirect from (chess opening) page
- create disambiguation at plain page, checking links
