Edward Williams Architects edit

Edward Williams Architects is an architectural practice based in London that works both in the UK and internationally on public and private buildings, residential, healthcare, education and workplace projects, with a strong attention on sustainability.[1]

The practice was founded in 2011 by Edward Williams and Laura Carrara-Cagni who met at Hopkins Architects where they held senior positions.[2][3] Among other projects, Edwards Williams Achitects are responsible for designing the Midland Metropolitan Hospital[4] and the Birmingham Hospital.[5]

Edward Williams is a board member of the British Architectural Library Trust (BALT),[6] a not-for-profit organisation formalized in 2013 to support the cultural programme of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He was the Honorary Librarian at the RIBA during his 2012-2016 term.[7]

Laura Carrara-Cagni graduated with Giancarlo de Carlo and her thesis "Genoa fish market" was published on Spazio e Società - Space & Society.[8] She was recently interviewed on Building Design Magazine[9] and Curbed.[10]
